SAAZ is hiring a full-time entry-level intern/technician for its detector team to fabricate infrared focal plane arrays, including infrared avalanche photodiode arrays, from epi wafers to diced arrays at UCSB Nanofab in Santa Barbara, California. The role involves hands-on semiconductor fabrication in ISO 5 and 6 cleanrooms, operating laboratory equipment, troubleshooting processes, inspecting products with microscopy and other analytical tools, documenting experiments, and following safety and quality procedures.
