Description
CoreCivic is hiring a Detention Officer to maintain order, safety, and security while providing care and direct supervision to inmates or residents in a secure correctional facility. The role includes working across housing units, meals, recreation, work assignments, armory and key control, kitchen, medical, visitation, and other posts; it may involve employing weapons or force to maintain discipline. The officer must be able to work any post assignment on any shift. Compensation is $26.50 per hour.
