Description
CoreCivic is hiring a Detention Officer to maintain order, safety, and security while directly supervising inmates or residents in a correctional facility. The role includes housing-unit, meal, recreation, work-assignment, and other facility activities, may involve the use of weapons or force, and requires interchangeable work areas and any required post assignments on any shift. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, complete pre-service correctional officer training, hold a valid driver's license with a clear driving record, and be at least 18 years old.
