Databricks is hiring a Developer Advocate Manager for Open Source to lead its open-source developer relations strategy, manage and grow a team of Developer Advocates, and strengthen engagement with Apache and Linux Foundation communities. The role covers the Open Lakehouse stack, Omnigent, technical storytelling, community events, content creation, contributor relationships, and the use of AI to scale advocacy while maintaining technical depth. It requires at least 8 years of combined developer relations or developer advocacy and hands-on technical experience, plus 2+ years managing a developer relations team, along with substantial open-source leadership and community experience. The Zone 2 pay range is $155,100–$213,300 USD.
