Laterite is hiring a Developer for its Analytics team in Amsterdam to build and deploy AI-driven applications and software solutions supporting research and social impact. The role combines software engineering, Python development, LLM and agentic AI, RAG, knowledge graphs, data handling, product development, and deployment, and may involve knowledge hubs, research automation, external platforms, WhatsApp data collection, generative data augmentation, and Google Earth Engine models. Candidates should have a technical or quantitative degree, a portfolio or substantial project, experience or passion for international development and research, strong Python and LLM skills, and familiarity with cloud, Unix, Docker, and DevOps. The position offers a gross annual salary of EUR 33,830–EUR 40,000, with flexible remote work and no visa sponsorship.
