Aeroflow Health is hiring a Developer DBA to support its internal SQL Engineering team. The role combines SQL code review, database architecture and technical consulting, coaching and mentoring, and hands-on T-SQL development and optimization. It focuses on maintainable database engineering, performance and reliability improvements, technical debt reduction, deployment automation, observability, and data contracts, while partnering with Database Administration, Analytics Engineering, and Product teams. The position prefers hybrid work but considers remote candidates, with possible travel to the Asheville, North Carolina office during the initial months. It requires 5+ years of professional SQL engineering experience or 3+ years of development-focused DBA experience, along with Microsoft SQL Server expertise and experience with database modernization, CI/CD, and operational tooling.
