AWS is hiring a Developer Experience Engineer to improve the developer experience for agent-driven development on AWS. The role involves building with agents across AWS services, identifying friction, documenting findings, and creating technical content such as blog posts, sample code, tutorials, and feedback for product teams. The engineer will partner with service teams and developer advocates to improve standards and advocate for changes. The position requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience, at least four years of production software development experience, programming or scripting skills, and hands-on experience with AI coding assistants. The role is based in San Francisco or Seattle, with annual base salaries of $135,600–$237,300 USD in San Francisco and $117,900–$206,300 USD in Seattle.
