Description

Taste Project, a 501(c)3 non-profit focused on feeding hungry communities, seeks a Development Associate, Events. This full-time role involves securing event commitments and sponsorships, overseeing event execution, and promoting the organization's mission. The associate will engage with businesses and community groups, manage logistics, coordinate staff and volunteers, and ensure successful event delivery aligned with Taste Project's goals.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 2 years of experience
Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests, volunteers, and staff.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to problem-solve in dynamic situations.
Food Manager Certification (training provided if hired)
