Description
Rocket Lab is hiring a Development Engineer to work on the Electron launch vehicle, focused on the design, testing, and continuous improvement of mission-critical mechanical systems across structural, mechanical, fluid, and thermal domains. The role involves CAD-based concept development, documentation, test planning and execution, anomaly resolution, and collaboration with analysis and manufacturing teams. Candidates should have an aerospace, mechanical, or mechatronic engineering degree, at least 3 years of experience developing and testing high-performance mechanical systems, and familiarity with test instrumentation and data analysis; experience with CAD, PLM tools, NI DAQ systems, and programming tools is preferred.
