Description
esVolta is hiring a Development Engineer (Engineer I) to support the development of utility-scale battery energy storage projects from early-stage development through NTP and EPC handoff. The role covers preliminary engineering and site design, engineering studies, interconnection support, permitting, techno-economic analysis, equipment procurement and vendor review, technical coordination, documentation, design reviews, and project handoff. It requires an ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar field and two years of relevant experience; the position is remote within the continental United States with up to 20% travel to project sites and no visa sponsorship.
