Lightshift is hiring a Development Engineer to support the design and engineering of grid-scale battery energy storage projects from initial site screening through concept design and handoff to execution. The role involves preparing site layouts, electrical and civil design documents, equipment sizing, interconnection applications, permitting deliverables, regulatory and safety-code reviews, technical research, documentation, and stakeholder presentations. The position is based at Lightshift's Arlington, Virginia headquarters and offers a salary of $75,000 to $110,000 plus benefits.
