ALTEN Consulting Services GmbH is hiring a Development Engineer for Electrical Engineering – Drive Technology to develop electrical drive systems for elevator doors, including electronic door drives, reversing devices, and pre-installations. The role also involves adapting control-unit firmware and communication protocols, testing and analyzing electrical products, sizing components and systems, selecting materials and manufacturing processes, and supporting prototype manufacturing and trials. Candidates need an electrical engineering degree or comparable qualification, product-development experience, knowledge of control-unit development and C/C++, familiarity with relevant standards, and strong German and English skills.
