GECAD is hiring a full-time Development Engineer for Measurement Technology & Sensor Systems in the Heilbronn area to develop and optimize electro-optical sensor and measurement systems for aerospace and space applications. The role includes electro-optical characterization, measurement-method development, test-campaign planning, environmental testing, root-cause analysis, specifications, test procedures, and customer-specific system support. Candidates need a degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable field, professional experience in optronics, infrared technology, measurement technology, sensor systems, or electronics, semiconductor knowledge, and experience in system development, characterization, or qualification.
