Description
FERCHAU is hiring a Development Engineer for Sensor Technology to develop sensor concepts and control concepts for switchgear, design and integrate sensors and RTU interfaces, plan functional tests, acquire plant-state data, and use digital information to control gas-insulated switchgear. The role requires a completed degree in electrical engineering, measurement engineering, digital engineering, or a comparable field, along with knowledge of sensor technology, measurement technology, signal processing, and medium-voltage engineering. Experience with agile development, cloud and data analysis technologies is desirable, and knowledge of LTSpice, PSpice, MATLAB/SIMULINK, C, C++, Siemens NX, and MS Teamcenter is advantageous. The position offers permanent employment and is based in Frankfurt am Main, Hesse.
