Description
FERCHAU is hiring a Development Engineer in Electrical Engineering and Automation to support shipbuilding projects. The role covers electrical assembly design and dimensioning, testing, technical documentation, system integration, commissioning support, and root-cause analysis. Candidates need a degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, communications engineering, or a similar field, project-planning and electrical-design knowledge, and very good English; shipbuilding experience, PLC and EPLAN knowledge, and electrical-drive or EMC-testing experience are advantageous. The position is based in Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein, with up to 50% mobile work, and offers a permanent contract, pension plan, training, and digital collaboration tools.
