FERCHAU is hiring a Development Engineer in electrical engineering for shipbuilding. The role involves planning energy supply and marine technology systems, developing and integrating electronic or mechatronic systems, sizing electrical equipment, preparing power-generation and distribution concept studies, and analyzing electrical plants and devices. Applicants need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or an equivalent field, reliable German and good English, MS Office proficiency, and preferably PLC S7, EPLAN, electrical design, drive systems, or EMC testing knowledge.
