Excelitas is hiring a Research and Development Engineer in Göttingen to develop and implement technologies for complex opto-mechanical assemblies, evaluate customer specifications, improve and validate processes, support technology transfer, and troubleshoot production issues. The role requires a master’s degree in mechanical engineering, technical physics, or a comparable field, ideally experience in optical technologies, basic statistics knowledge, self-organization and data-analysis skills, and fluent German and very good English.
