Description
The employer is seeking a Development Engineer Optics / Laser Physics to develop and test high-performance laser systems for EUV lithography in the semiconductor industry. Responsibilities include planning and evaluating tests, modeling optical systems with Matlab or Python, supporting development projects from concept through product introduction, optimizing optical systems, collaborating with development, production, service, and customer teams, and documenting test results. The role requires a Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field, practical experience in optics, laser physics, or optical measurement technology, and strong German and English skills; knowledge of fiber technology, Matlab, Python, and development or research experience is advantageous. The position is based in Ditzingen and offers permanent employment with performance-based compensation.
