Description
The eAxle Transmission Engineer will develop transmission concepts and layouts for electric drive systems, including parallel-axis, coaxial, and planetary gear solutions. The role covers transmission architecture, power flow, packaging, performance, cost, weight, manufacturability, and analysis of efficiency, NVH, durability, lubrication, and thermal management using Masta, AMESim, and MATLAB/Simulink. The engineer will define interfaces with eMotor, differential, lubrication, and output-shaft components and collaborate with system, design, and simulation teams from concept through series production. The position requires a degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering, several years of transmission or planetary gearbox development experience, strong knowledge of gear design and powertrain dynamics, proficiency in the listed simulation tools, and fluency in German and English.
