Blue Origin is seeking a highly skilled individual to join their Lunar Permanence business unit. The successful candidate will serve as the primary technical authority for Development Flight Instrumentation (DFI) for the MK-1 lunar lander, focusing on the full lifecycle of DFI solutions. Responsibilities include architecting and designing DFI solutions using custom and COTS avionics hardware, integrating and testing flight hardware, developing ground support equipment, and coordinating sensor installations. The role also involves supporting test and flight operations, translating mission requirements into instrumentation architectures, managing budgets, and authorizing documentation.
