Description
The Development Officer will oversee and execute Special Kids’ fundraising and development plan, coordinate with the Executive Director and Board, monitor revenue and budgets, develop donor and grant communications, pursue corporate and foundation funding, and support major gifts, endowments, and legacy giving. The role is full-time, 32 hours per week Monday through Thursday, with benefits, holidays, and paid time off. It requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3–5 years of not-for-profit fundraising experience or training, and at least two years of leadership experience; CFRE certification and CPR certification are preferred.
