Description
The Swedish Geotechnical Institute is hiring one permanent geotechnical engineer to conduct applied research on soil properties, foundations, ground improvement, and climate-related load changes; support municipalities and government agencies; develop research proposals; publish guidance; and provide geotechnical emergency support to rescue services. The role requires postgraduate research training, a civil or road and water engineering master's degree, independent initiative, collaboration, communication skills in Swedish and English, and the ability to establish external contacts. Expertise in numerical modeling, stability assessments, and geotechnical document review is advantageous.
