Description
The Development Test Engineer evaluates, compares, and improves gasoline engine aftertreatment systems to meet or exceed regulatory standards while supporting product development for electrified vehicle propulsion applications. The role directs engine and powertrain dynamometer or vehicle-based testing, develops emissions-system solutions, optimizes calibrations, investigates competitor systems, leads technology development projects, and integrates hardware, sensors, controls, and calibration technologies. It requires a relevant engineering degree, at least two years of systems-level experience, emissions-testing and powertrain-data-acquisition expertise, and strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
