Description
Zone 5 Technologies is hiring an Environmental Qualification & Design Engineer to lead environmental testing, validation, and design integration for counter-drone and missile systems supporting U.S. Department of Defense programs. The role develops MIL-STD-810 test plans, conducts shock, vibration, temperature, humidity, rain, and sand/dust testing, coordinates EMI/EMC testing, manages third-party test houses, and translates test results into hardware design guidelines. The position requires 12–15 years of relevant aerospace, defense, or high-reliability systems engineering experience, knowledge of MIL-STD-810 and related standards, hands-on instrumentation and test equipment experience, and a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering. Compensation is $170,000–$205,000 USD, with medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, and other benefits.
