onsemi is hiring a Semiconductor Device Characterization Engineer in Hopewell Junctions, New York, to support high-volume manufacturing and new technology development. The role performs electrical characterization of trench MOSFET, IGBT, and related power semiconductor devices; analyzes parametric, probe, final-test, reliability, and failure data; evaluates manufacturing excursions and process changes; recommends dispositions for lot holds; investigates production issues; correlates device data to root causes; and supports reliability, quality, and continuous-improvement initiatives. The position requires a B.S. or M.S. in a relevant technical discipline and at least two years of semiconductor device or characterization engineering experience, with a base salary of $75,300 to $120,400.
