The client is hiring a contract DevOps Engineer to support and enhance a hybrid infrastructure environment involving AWS and on-premises VMware platforms. The role focuses on building and improving on-prem infrastructure and application capabilities, supporting services integrated with Uber and Lyft, modernizing infrastructure, and contributing to cloud and database migration initiatives.
