Description

NOVACARD is hiring a DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and operate AWS infrastructure for a large-scale migration of a digital financial product. The role covers AWS networking, EKS, Terraform, CI/CD, observability, backup and disaster recovery, secrets management, Linux administration, and support for PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Kafka. The engineer will collaborate with development, system analysis, QA, and engineering teams to deliver a production-ready platform and hand it over to operations.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Strong AWS experience across networking, compute, storage, identity, and load balancing services
Hands-on experience building and operating Kubernetes on AWS EKS
Experience with Helm
Experience configuring Kubernetes ingress, load balancers, and TLS certificates
Experience with Docker image builds, registries, and container troubleshooting
Experience creating and maintaining AWS infrastructure as code with Terraform
Experience building CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab CI
Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Kafka at the infrastructure and application integration level
Linux administration and network and system troubleshooting
Experience configuring RBAC and IAM with least-privilege access
Preferred Qualifications: Experience migrating lending systems or fintech products
Experience building CI/CD with GitLab CI
Hands-on experience with Vault, OpenBao, and External Secrets
Experience with Kafka and stateful services in Kubernetes
