Description

BrightOrder is hiring a fully remote DevOps Developer (AWS) to build, automate, and scale its cloud-based platform. The role combines full-stack development with backend services, APIs, integrations, frontend tools, CI/CD, AWS infrastructure, databases, containerization, observability, and production troubleshooting. Candidates need at least five years of professional software development experience and strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and related distributed-system technologies.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of professional software development experience
Proficiency with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.js or another modern frontend framework
Experience designing and building backend services, RESTful APIs, integrations, and service-based systems
Intermediate hands-on experience with AWS services, including ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, EC2, S3, and CloudWatch
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git-based workflows
Strong database experience across relational and non-relational systems, including PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and MongoDB
Familiarity with RabbitMQ, Redis, microservices, serverless architectures, GraphQL, and real-time messaging
Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as New Relic, OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana
Understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, application security, cloud security best practices, security reviews, and vulnerability management
Experience building tools or solutions for developers, operations, QA, customer support, or other internal users, including exposure to Jira Service Management/Jira Service Desk workflows
Exposure to SaaS, fleet management, logistics, telematics, IoT, or connected device ecosystems
Demonstrated use of AI-powered development tools for coding, documentation, testing, reviewing, and troubleshooting
