Description
Twilio is hiring a Software Engineer for its Platform Engineering Observability team to help re-architect and scale observability systems across the company. The role leads architecture and delivery of telemetry, logging, metrics, tracing, profiling, and related platform components; advises on distributed-systems and OpenTelemetry standards; designs developer tooling and APIs; and mentors engineers. It requires experience building and scaling observability systems, modern programming, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure, with ClickHouse, Grafana Mimir, Athena, and FinOps experience preferred. The position is remote from Ireland, with occasional travel for in-person meetings.
