Freelancer.com is hiring a Systems Engineer to design and deliver mission-critical services and systems alongside software engineers. The role focuses on infrastructure and services at scale, including AWS, Nginx, databases, container platforms, configuration management, infrastructure orchestration, monitoring, and automation. The engineer will work on resilient, dynamically scaling, self-healing systems and will have experience with Linux, production servers, cloud and virtualization services, programming, incident response, and security-focused systems. A university degree in Computer Science or Engineering is preferred, and the London office is near Old Street Underground station.
