Description

Stratio is hiring a DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to manage and operate its cloud, networking, storage, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Linux, observability, security, and cost infrastructure supporting AI and machine-learning platforms. The role requires a computer science or related degree, cloud and infrastructure-as-code experience, Kubernetes and Linux expertise, observability and security knowledge, and on-call availability. It is a hybrid position based in Coimbra, Portugal, with an annual gross salary band of 22,000–30,000 euros and health insurance for the employee and children.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: Experience operating and managing at least one cloud environment, including compute, networking, storage, and security services
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
Experience with container orchestration and containerization, especially Kubernetes and Docker
Experience deploying and managing large-scale Linux systems
Experience collecting system and application metrics for observability
Experience managing security, secrets, and access control across cloud platforms
SRE/DevOps experience operating software in a Linux-based environment
Preferred Qualifications: AWS certification
Terraform certification
Experience building CI/CD pipelines
Experience with MQTT infrastructure
Experience with distributed database systems
Knowledge of highly available and scalable architectures across multiple regions
Understanding of microservices architecture, including Apache Kafka
