Description
The Platform Engineer will own the build, deployment, infrastructure, security, and governance of scientific software across cloud, customer-premises, restricted laboratory, air-gapped, and offline environments. The role includes Kubernetes and GitOps operations, secrets and access control, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, log aggregation, CI/CD, database migrations, backup and recovery, and audit support. It requires strong AWS or equivalent, Kubernetes, configuration management, on-premise and offline deployment, and end-to-end CI/CD experience, along with a degree in computer science or engineering or equivalent practical experience and fluent English. The position is remote within Europe with regular on-site presence in Bremen.
