Description
Apple is hiring an individual to architect and lead distributed compute platforms and application services for Apple Retail Stores. The role involves collaborating with software engineers, identifying solutions, testing and deploying changes, automating repetitive processes, monitoring application health, and troubleshooting large-scale production issues. Candidates must have strong software development skills in Python, Rust, and/or Java, experience with cloud compute environments, infrastructure as code, configuration management, CI/CD, and automation, and comfort with on-call rotation.
