Description

proteanTecs is hiring a DevOps Team Lead to bridge engineering execution and strategic leadership. Reporting to the DevOps Director, the role leads and mentors DevOps Engineers, coordinates workload and sprint planning, escalates technical challenges, and translates the DevOps roadmap into team objectives. The position also designs and maintains CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, automation, observability, security, and operational documentation, while collaborating with R&D, QA, and Product teams.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a related field
2+ years in a team lead, tech lead, or senior individual contributor role with mentorship responsibilities
Experience leading small-to-mid-size engineering teams in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with large-scale SaaS or data-intensive environments
Familiarity with Apache Flink, ElasticSearch, Vertica, or hybrid cloud deployments
Exposure to Keycloak (OIDC), Tableau, or enterprise identity management
Customer-facing or on-site deployment experience
