Description

Claritas Rx is hiring a primarily remote DevSecOps professional to secure its AWS-hosted digital health SaaS platform handling sensitive patient and commercial data. The role owns cloud security engineering, security monitoring and incident response, vulnerability management, IAM, data protection, CI/CD security, and support for HIPAA, SOC 2 Type II, and HITRUST compliance. It is a hands-on individual contributor position reporting to the Senior Manager of Site Reliability, with occasional travel and participation in a security on-call rotation.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
Required Previous Experiences: At least 4 years of information security engineering, cloud security, or closely related experience
Experience investigating and responding to cloud security incidents
Experience operating vulnerability management programs
Experience integrating security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines
Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare technology or digital health experience involving HIPAA-regulated PHI
Threat modeling experience using STRIDE, PASTA, or similar methodologies
Penetration testing and third-party security assessment experience
Security or cloud security certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or Security+
Experience using AI tools for threat hunting or compliance workflows
Strong written and verbal communication
