Description
Truss is hiring a DevSecOps or Platform Engineer to stand up, secure, and operate AWS infrastructure supporting AI capabilities on a large federal program, while also supporting broader cloud infrastructure and data engineering for document and structured data pipelines. The role partners with program engineers, sets infrastructure patterns, and supports multiple application teams. It requires AWS AI and cloud experience, DevSecOps or platform engineering experience, infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD skills, containerization, cloud security, Python, SQL, data pipelines, monitoring, and troubleshooting. The position is a 35-hour-per-week contract through April 2027 with potential extension, pays $80–$88 hourly, requires travel to Baltimore twice per calendar year, and does not offer work-visa sponsorship.
