Description

Mastercam is hiring a DevSecOps Security Engineer to secure cloud-native application platforms, AI-enabled solutions, and supporting infrastructure. The role integrates security across the software development lifecycle, including Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, identity and access management, secret management, API security, monitoring, and AI workload controls. It requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 4–5 years of experience in security engineering, DevSecOps, cloud security, DevOps, or platform engineering, along with hands-on Kubernetes and cloud-environment experience.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent education, military service, and relevant professional experience may also be considered.
Required Previous Experiences: 4–5 years of experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, Cloud Security, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
At least 1 year of hands-on experience supporting Kubernetes or containerized application environments.
Experience securing cloud-native applications and services.
Experience implementing vulnerability management and application security programs.
Experience working with software development teams and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience supporting AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Kubernetes, Istio, FluxCD, APISIX, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Keycloak, OpenBao, HashiCorp Vault, Azure Entra ID, AWS IAM, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Qdrant, Amazon Bedrock, Generative AI applications, Retrieval Augmented Generation, Vector databases, or LLM Security.
Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, OWASP API Security Top 10, OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Benchmarks, Zero Trust Architecture, and Secure Software Development Lifecycle.
One or more of Security+, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist, AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISSP, CCSP, or GIAC certifications.
