Eaton is hiring a remote DFSS Engineer to support its Greenwood, South Carolina facility. The role combines new product development quality planning, design for Six Sigma, first-article and APQP/PPAP readiness, manufacturing quality, continuous improvement, and supplier quality. The engineer will work with design, manufacturing, operations, and supply chain teams to reduce variability, improve first-pass yield, and ensure robust handoffs from development to stable production. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least three years of quality or manufacturing engineering experience, and knowledge of FMEA, control plans, MSA, SPC, and 8D are required; Six Sigma Green Belt certification or Design for Six Sigma training is a plus. The expected annual salary is $97,000–$143,000, with a variable incentive program, and the position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
