Description
The Diagnostic Testing Technician supports clinical care at The Eye Center by performing diagnostic eye tests such as visual fields, corneal topography, ocular photography, scanning laser topography, fluorescein angiography, and ultrasonography. The role also maintains and troubleshoots diagnostic technology, coordinates maintenance and service, supports quality assurance and biomedical waste compliance, maintains HIPAA compliance, coordinates patient care, and instructs students and interns. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, five years of related optometric or ophthalmic diagnostic-testing experience, and preferably a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant credential.
