Description
Metro Bus is hiring a full-time Dial-a-Ride Bus Operator to provide safe, reliable paratransit and on-demand transportation. The role includes operating a transit bus, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, assisting passengers with mobility devices, collecting fares, reporting incidents, and maintaining courteous service. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a satisfactory driving record, transportation or commercial vehicle operation experience, a CDL permit with no airbrake restrictions and a passenger endorsement, a valid Class B Minnesota driver license with passenger and air brake endorsements, and current DOT medical certification. The starting hourly wage is $25.51, and work schedules are selected based on seniority.
