Description
Avon Manufacturing Company is hiring a full-time Die Maker in Avon, Ohio, with first- and second-shift availability and an hourly rate of $25.00 to $35.00. The role involves setting up and operating lathe, milling machine, and grinder equipment; machining parts to specifications; verifying dimensions, clearances, and alignment; studying blueprints and die models; and performing press operations and final adjustments. Candidates need at least one to two years of Die Maker or Die Repair experience, blueprint-reading ability, tool-room and machining knowledge, hand-tool experience, and strong math skills. CAD, ISO 9000, and GD&T experience are advantageous. Applicants must pass a criminal background check and a 10-panel drug screen, and only U.S. citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.
