Description
The HPDC Die Repair Technician repairs, maintains, troubleshoots, and improves high-pressure die casting dies, trim dies, and related tooling. The role includes disassembling and reassembling tooling, diagnosing failures, performing welding, machining, polishing, fitting, and bench work, maintaining cooling and ejector systems, conducting precision measurements, supporting die tryouts and production startups, documenting repair history, and recommending tooling improvements. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, experience repairing and maintaining HPDC dies and tooling, and proficiency with hand tools, precision instruments, mechanical drawings, and die casting processes.
