Description
The Die Setter operates single-hit and progressive-hit presses, loads steel coils, drives a forklift when needed, sets and adjusts dies, verifies product quality, maintains setup records, stores dies, reports machine wear, and follows lockout-tagout safety procedures. The role requires a high school education or equivalent, die-setting experience, mechanical aptitude, basic math, blueprint reading, and the ability to operate a forklift; it is performed on the plant floor and requires lifting up to 50 pounds.
