Description
The Die & Tooling Technician supports reliable, efficient, and safe manufacturing operations at Plaskolite’s Zanesville Site by overseeing die and tooling set-up, maintenance, repairs, changeovers, and troubleshooting. The role includes disassembling and reassembling plastic extrusion dies, installing grinder blades and shredder teeth, operating mill, lathe, grinder, and drill press equipment, interpreting engineering drawings, inspecting components, supporting production and continuous improvement, and assisting with capital projects and preventive maintenance. The position requires a technical certificate or related training and 5–7 years of progressive experience in tooling, die/mold maintenance, or a related manufacturing role, with plastics or extrusion experience preferred. It offers $30.00–$37.00 per hour, a limited-time bonus opportunity, and health, dental, and vision insurance.
