Academy Bus is hiring a full-time Diesel Bus Maintenance Manager to oversee and operate a diesel bus maintenance garage in Capitol Heights, Maryland. The role manages mechanics and cleaning staff, performs hands-on bus maintenance and repairs, troubleshoots modern tour-bus engines and transmissions, conducts inspections and road tests, documents warranty repairs, responds to road calls, oversees upholstery and wheel shops, and performs welding and fabrication. Candidates need at least seven years of diesel engine maintenance experience, supervisory experience, their own tools, proficiency with diagnostic and testing equipment, basic computer skills, and a CDL with Passenger and Airbrake endorsements.
