Thiess is hiring an experienced Diesel Fitter for a permanent full-time role at the Olive Downs Complex coal mining project near Moranbah, Australia. The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and focuses on maintaining, repairing, and servicing mobile plant and heavy earth moving equipment, with responsibilities including diagnostics, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, safe work compliance, housekeeping, and paperwork. The role offers an even-time 7/7 roster, 12-hour day and night shifts, camp and bus transport from Mackay or Moranbah, ongoing training and development, and various corporate discounts including health insurance.
