Description
The Fleet Mechanic inspects, troubleshoots, diagnoses, services, and repairs a wide range of automotive equipment, including diesel engines, for Cyrus and Newcomb Oil Co. company vehicles. Duties include DOT vehicle inspections, cost estimating, part installation, engine and vehicle-system repairs, tire changes, electrical and mechanical testing, forklift operation, and recordkeeping. The role requires at least three years of experience or equivalent education, familiarity with diesel and vehicle systems, a valid Class A CDL or willingness to obtain one, and the ability to work in an indoor shop with occasional outdoor work, travel, and physical lifting.
