R+L Carriers is hiring a full-time Diesel Mechanic in Maybrook, New York, working Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. The role performs preventive maintenance and minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts, including trailer maintenance, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, and welding where applicable. The position pays $34.11–$40.35 per hour and requires diesel engine maintenance and repair experience, major-repair capability, AC and electrical experience, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and personal tools. Preferred qualifications include two or more years of diesel mechanic experience, Cummins and Detroit engine maintenance, Cetaris work-order experience, and trailer preventive maintenance and repair experience.
