R+L Carriers is hiring a full-time Diesel Mechanic for its Canton, Massachusetts service center. The role pays $34.00–$42.93 per hour and works the second shift from 2:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance and minor to major repairs on Class 8 trucks, trailers, and potentially forklifts, including trailer maintenance, overhead doors, lift gates, dollies, and welding where applicable. The position requires diesel engine maintenance and repair experience, major-repair capability, AC and electrical experience, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and ownership of tools; preferred qualifications include two or more years of diesel mechanic experience, Cetaris work-order experience, and trailer preventive maintenance experience.
