Description
Saia is hiring a Heavy-Duty Truck Mechanic to perform maintenance, repair, and diagnostic work on class 6, 7, and 8 powered tractors and other heavy-duty vehicles. The role includes troubleshooting engines, braking, electrical, and exhaust systems; replacing major components; testing vehicles after repairs; and documenting maintenance tasks. Candidates must be at least 18, have a high school diploma or GED, be authorized to work in the United States, and provide personal maintenance tools. Two years of diesel mechanic experience and diagnostic software proficiency are preferred. The pay rate is $31.55–$36.30 per hour based on experience.
